CONCEPT
We see pictures and signs everywhere about the health hazards of smoking, and many of the pictures are scary and frightening. But for most smokers, cigarettes are a way for them to relieve and relax from their high-pressure work or study.
I designed the sign to be double-sided, and I wanted to hang it at the door or window of the smoking-room. When people walk past the smoking-room, they see the sign of "Smoking Kills," reminding them that smoking is bad for their health; when people walk into the smoking-room, they see the sign of "Smoking Heals", allowing smokers to feel relaxed and enjoy the time with a cigarette.
I'm not encouraging people to smoke. I just want them to have a space that is less intense in this stressful world.
Personal Reasons that Motivate Ideas
I saw some smokers smoking under the no-smoking sign.
Heavy smokers don't give a shit.
Adults are responsible for their own choices.
Restrict smokers to their preferred areas
