Problem Statement
Asian hate
There were approximately 2,800 acts of hate and bias in the U.S. toward Asian Americans since March 2020.
AAPI women are targets of hate crimes 2.3 times more than men.
Gender bias in art
51% of working artists are women, yet only 27% of solo exhibitions go to women.
Women artists earn 80 cents to every $1 male artists earn.
5% of Museum art is by women artists.
